Fantasizing about project cars, I was cruising around CL and cars.com for 80's and 90's cars under $10k. C4 Corvettes dominated. Some interesting finds on cars.com within 100 miles:

* 1988 Supra Turbo

* 1987 Porsche 928 S4

* 1987 MR2 (4AGE 20v silvertop swap, looks pretty well done)

* 1994 Mazda MX-6 V6 5MT- I can’t remember the last time I’ve seen one of these; my buddy’s girlfriend had one that I drove a couple times back then, before she wrecked it

* 1990 Saab 900 turbo 5MT with... 260k miles

I feel like if I don’t buy a 3rd-gen supra in the next two years, I’ll never be able to afford/find one.

I probably would too; I was interested in the AW11 when I was seriously looking for a car, but I couldn’t even find a decent one to test drive at the time.
